Details: Licensed Clinical Social Worker and IU School of Social Work Assistant Professor, Dr. Susan Glassburn, will present on grief and how to help grieving people. During the presentation, participants will:

Learn about uncomplicated grief (the normal, but awful feelings)
Understand the factors involved in complicated grief (suicide grief, violent death, unexpected death)
Receive concrete ideas about how to help those with uncomplicated grief, and differentiate and refer those with complicated grief
