Communicating with Schools: Collaborative Strategies for Positive Outcomes (Online)

A major intent of federal and state law in special education is to encourage positive working relationships between parents and schools. The use of effective communication techniques can enhance collaborative relationships and minimize conflict. This webinar will address building positive relationships between parents and schools, verbal and nonverbal communication, types of communicators and strategies for building communication skills.

This event will be hosted by Jill Summerlot and Cathy Boswell, IN*SOURCE Special Education Liaisons.

Please register by 4:00 pm EST on Monday, April 4.

This training is free and open to the public. Certificates of attendance are available for attendees. Professional Growth Plan points subject to approval from each attendee’s organization . To serve you more efficiently, we require advance registration. Each person must register individually in order to receive a certificate of attendance. Our federal grant requires us to collect demographic information on each attendee.
